Sweet Slice of Summer 5 × 5

This painting was inspired by a childhood memory of making strawberry shortcake with my mom. We would go to the store together to pick out all the ingredients, and because we only had it sometimes, it always felt extra special.

The soft cream, bright strawberries, and warm tones are meant to capture that feeling—simple, sweet moments that stay with you.

Painted with acrylic paint on panel canvas and finished with a glossy varnish to enhance the color and texture.
